The Unexpected Present

Spring Days at the Eastern Shore

Spring Fields

These are Yuri’s Spring Days. Having missed them the past two years, we’re enjoying the budding trees and fields, awash in Nature’s Spring Green color palette collection. It’s been three weeks since our move from an upper Sussex County personally dangerous situation to the rolling hills and serenity of the Eastern Shore.

The serenity perception of lakefront living can be enticing, as noted in real estate descriptions “The spacious kitchen flows seamlessly into another formal sitting room and dining room, all of which offer even more stunning water views.” “Imagine waking up each morning to your own private protected views of the water – pure bliss!” “In addition to the stunning views…” “this home is truly the best value for waterfront living…” A property manager sells a dream. It can be subliminal. Deceitful. Scam.

It was a challenging task. Countless sleepless nights and intense aggravated harassment before and during the eventful move can make a person delusional, imaginations run rampant, calculations are off, and any unexpected circumstance can turn into a large-scale misunderstanding causing chaotic responses. This can have repercussions that may not heal for a long time. It was an emergency with all hands on deck, battening down the hatches and weathering the stormy seas. The barometric pressure took its toll on our calico, Nell. Her yowling was as alarming as a foghorn could be when there were rocks in sight, heading off a possible shipwreck.

The trauma we had gone through was just as bad, if not worse, than PICs (Post ICU Syndrome) still going on within us. But we made it. It’s lessening each day as we listen to the chorus of birds and tree frogs and watch the grass grow. We love this Nature Channel. My mind is finally getting the rest so desperately needed despite my desire to get everything out of boxes and in place so we can get back to our lives without pressure or misconstrued contentions.

Perception is essential– we believe we’re doing the right thing, and our values make us who we are – it keeps us on track. Be open, be kind, and help others in how we have been supported by many who showed kindness and generosity. We are grateful that such good people surround us. Truly a gift we will always treasure because you can’t get it anywhere else. It’s from the heart and very much appreciated.

According to Heather Cox Richardson’s Letters From An American, which we’ve been reading since 2019, wrote on May 11, 2023, “At 11:59 p.m. tonight, the COVID-19 public health emergency ends by order of the Department of Health and Human Services. Today, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre noted that more than 270 million Americans have received at least one shot of COVID-19 vaccine. The U.S. has been the largest single donor of vaccines to the global community, sharing nearly 700 million doses with 117 countries.”

“The end of the declared pandemic shifts dealing with COVID away from an emergency status but does not mean the end of public health concerns about the illness. Vaccines and treatments will still be widely available and, at least in the short term, at little to no cost, while the administration will continue to research long COVID and help those experiencing it. What will change immediately is the emergency waivers that expanded Medicaid and Medicare telehealth coverage during the worst of the crisis and certain reporting requirements.”

Yuri remains vaccine-injured. His neurotransmitters are still off, and he cannot play his violin at this time. We are working on a Naturopathic way to heal the nerve damage caused by the experimental mRNA shot courtesy of Pfizer, who made 100 BILLION dollars in profit this year with government immunity. No responsibility. No accountability. While a Federal program provides benefits for serious injuries that occur due to the administration or use of a covered countermeasure, they do not wish to acknowledge that Covid-19 vaccine injury is real, not rare.

The Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) website explains that countermeasures are vaccines, antivirals, drugs, biologics, or medical devices used to diagnose, prevent, or treat a declared pandemic, epidemic, or security threat. The Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (the Secretary) declares specific countermeasures under CICP. Covered public health threats include Ebola, Pandemic Influenza A, Smallpox, Anthrax, and COVID-19. We applied over a year ago. They responded we did not show enough evidence. I sent a thick envelope of hospital records and billings of nearly a million dollars, with doctors recognizing Yuri’s severe adverse effects as mRNA vaccine-related. So far, we got crickets…

What does it take to get through this? Tenacity and perseverance. We have plenty. We have a good place and excellent support from our friends who helped us get here. We are in a safe place and will make it work, whatever it takes. We are home.
